LiveMeUp Is an Official Meta Live Commerce Partner

LiveMeUp is one of five platforms Meta named as a Live Video Ads launch partner. Here is what that means for Shopify brands selling on Facebook.

Anna Jackson · September 2026

On June 18, 2026, Meta named the five platforms it was launching its new Live Video Ads commerce program with. LiveMeUp is one of them.

That is not a marketing claim or a badge LiveMeUp applied for after the fact. It is Meta's own publicly announced list, naming CommentSold, Firework, LiveMeUp, Sprii, and TalkShopLive as launch partners for a live commerce ad format that brings paid, checkout-enabled live shopping back to Facebook.

What Meta actually announced

Meta's Live Video Ads program turns a livestream into a targeted, paid Facebook ad with checkout built in, routed to the merchant's own store rather than a Meta-owned payment rail. It is part of a broader push to re-enable commerce tools on Facebook and Instagram after native in-app checkout was shut down in 2023. LiveMeUp's Live Video Ads workflow is specifically for Facebook.

Meta did not open the launch program to every live commerce vendor. It named five: CommentSold, Firework, LiveMeUp, Sprii, and TalkShopLive. Platforms Shopify brands also evaluate, including Bambuser, Channelize, and Videowise, were not on that list.

Why none of this has been said out loud yet — until now

Three months after the announcement, none of LiveMeUp's four co-partners had built a landing page, blog post, or press release around the position. The credibility was there, but the category language remained largely unclaimed.

Meanwhile, Videowise, which was not on Meta's launch-partner list, built a content hub targeting Facebook Live Shopping search terms. LiveMeUp is closing that gap with the underlying partnership and the Shopify-native product to match.

Why this matters more than a badge

It is proof, not a promise. Any live shopping app can say it works with Facebook. Being one of five platforms Meta itself named for a paid commerce ad format is a different claim — one a competitor cannot retroactively make.

It supports an owned-channel strategy. The live event, checkout, customer relationship, and order still belong to the merchant. Brands keep margin control without platform-mandated discounting, and the sale lands in their own Shopify store.

It is Shopify-native. LiveMeUp is built around Shopify checkout and the merchant's existing product and order data. There is no separate storefront or customer record to reconcile.

What the partnership unlocks today

A LiveMeUp merchant can extend an existing live shopping event into a paid Facebook acquisition channel: schedule the session from LiveMeUp in Shopify, set the budget and audience inside LiveMeUp's Meta interface, go live, and let the ad run automatically for the event. New viewers can discover products and complete checkout through the merchant's Shopify store.

That is a different growth lever from email or retargeting, which primarily reach people already connected to the brand. Live Video Ads can bring cold audiences into a live event at the moment products are being demonstrated and questions are being answered.

Among the five, LiveMeUp is the only platform where the certification, checkout, and Shopify storefront operate as one Shopify-native system.

What LiveMeUp merchants are already seeing

  • 9–30% conversion rates on live shopping events, compared with 2–3% for standard ecommerce
  • 5× the conversion rate on product pages featuring shoppable video versus static pages
  • 3× the average session duration on shoppable video pages
  • Shoppable replay galleries driving up to 60% of revenue after the original broadcast ends

None of this requires leaving the Shopify store. The merchant keeps Shopify as the system of record for checkout and orders.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is LiveMeUp really an official Meta live commerce partner?

Yes. Meta named LiveMeUp one of five launch partners for its Live Video Ads program on June 18, 2026, alongside CommentSold, Firework, Sprii, and TalkShopLive. LiveMeUp is the only Shopify-native platform among the five.

What does being a Meta live commerce partner let a Shopify brand do?

It lets eligible LiveMeUp merchants extend live shopping events into Meta's Live Video Ads format: a paid Facebook ad that runs during the live event, reaches new audiences, and routes checkout and orders to the brand's Shopify store.

How is LiveMeUp different from other Meta launch partners?

LiveMeUp is the only one of the five named launch partners built natively around Shopify. The live event, checkout, product data, customer record, and order data remain connected to the merchant's existing Shopify store rather than a separate hosted commerce platform.
