What shoppers actually ask

Most questions fall into four families. Here are real examples from the lives we analyzed, with brand and product names removed.

“How do relaxed-fit denim dresses usually run — should I size up or down?”
“I'm 5'2" — what are my easiest options to make jeans fit the right length?”
“If I know my size in one style of jeans, will it be consistent for other styles?”
“Are sleeves on these jackets generally short, or do they fit people with longer arms?”

Five ways to answer questionsbefore they're asked

1

Lead every product with fit.

Give the host's height and size, whether it runs true to size, and the inseam. That answers the most common question before anyone types it.

2

Explain how to buy at the start of each live.

A quarter of questions are about buying: restocks, codes, adding to cart. A 30-second walkthrough at the start saves the rest of the live.

3

Give petite shoppers their own answers.

Length and hemming come up in a quarter of lives. Inseam numbers and a note on hemming close the gap.

4

Describe what the camera can't show.

Fabric weight, stretch and true color come up in almost half of lives. Say them out loud and put them on the product page.

5

Answer restock and promo questions once.

"When is it back?" and "does the code apply?" repeat every live. A standing FAQ on your store covers them, and it's what AI assistants pick up when shoppers ask outside the live.
