The engagement rate has emerged with social networks. This performance indicator provides insight into the quality of interaction between a brand and its community. The higher the engagement rate, the more successful the publication has been. This KPI should also be measured and analyzed during Live Shopping events. A promising engagement rate ensures a successful Live strategy. Here's why:

  • Engagement promotes sales. A engaged customer during a Live session is more likely to make a purchase.

  • Engagement goes hand in hand with retention. The most loyal customers are inherently the most engaged in your communications and events. Cherish them!

Now, here's THE essential checklist for every Live to successfully achieve your Engagement objective:

  • Have at least two people during your Live. Having at least two people allows someone to moderate the chat and respond more easily to viewers, while the other person is on camera.   • Say "Hello" and "Welcome" and introduce the topic of the day. It may sound simple, but if you could personally greet your viewers at the beginning of your Live, they will feel included and be more likely to engage with you and the community present.
  • Create interaction with your community. During the Live, don't hesitate to talk to viewers, ask questions, and answer their inquiries.

  • Be comfortable, calm, and approachable. The more relaxed you appear, the more your customers will want to show their engagement. The Live is a pleasant moment of relaxation, for you and the viewers.
